Create your store
You create your Zimam store in one sign-up wizard: create your account, confirm your email, then set up your store. You then land in the dashboard, and your store is live on its subdomain.
Video narrated in Arabic.
1. Create your account
- Open the sign-up page.
- Enter your Full Name, Phone (pick the Country code first), Email, Password, and Confirm Password. The password must be at least 8 characters.
- Click Continue.
2. Confirm your email
Zimam sends a 6-digit code to your email address. Enter it and click Verify. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder, or click Resend code when the countdown ends.
If a Verify your phone step appears, enter the 6-digit code you receive over WhatsApp.
3. Set up your store
- Enter your Store Name.
- If the Store Country field appears, pick your country. It sets your currency and phone format, and it cannot be changed after the store is created. See Countries and currencies.
- Enter your Store Domain: the subdomain your customers visit, such as
mystore.zimamshops.com. The wizard checks right away whether it is available. - Optional: upload a Store Logo (PNG or JPG, up to 5MB).
- Click Create Store.
A new store starts on the pay-as-you-go plan (PAYG), where each order is charged to your store's credit balance. The first store you create also starts your account's free trial. See Credits balance and Subscription and billing.
4. Choose the store you manage
If you have more than one store, the dashboard asks Which store today? when you sign in. Pick a store, or click Create Store to add a new one.
To switch later, click the store card at the top of the sidebar (on a phone, Switch store in the top bar), then pick another store or Create new store.
5. Finish the setup steps on the Overview
The Overview page shows a four-step progress strip. Each step has a button that opens the right section:
- See who visits your store — connect a tracking pixel. See Tracking pixels.
- Add a few more products — the step completes at 10 products. See Creating products.
- Connect delivery — connect a delivery company. See Delivery setup.
- Publish a landing page — see Landing pages.
When all four are done, the strip reads All set — your store is fully wired.
6. Check that your store is live and take your first order
- The store card shows the storefront status: Storefront live or Storefront off. A storefront goes off when the store has no active plan, runs out of credits, reaches its monthly order limit, or is suspended by support.
- Click Visit Store to open your store as a customer sees it.
- When a customer orders from your store, the order appears in Orders and you get a notification. See Order lifecycle and Notifications.
