Delivery Companies

On the Delivery Companies page you register the companies that deliver your orders and set their prices for each wilaya. Zimam Manager uses these prices to calculate delivery costs in Profitability and the balances in Remittances.

Add a company​

  1. Open Delivery Companies and click Add company.
  2. Type the Name as you want it to appear.
  3. In Carrier match, pick the carrier from the list. The list shows the carriers mentioned in your orders. If it is missing, choose Other (type the exact name)… and type the name.
  4. Click Save.

Carrier match is what links your orders to the company: it must exactly match the carrier name used on delivered orders, and upper or lower case does not matter. If you type it differently, orders are not counted for this company. Two companies cannot use the same match.

If the list is empty and your orders already mention carriers, you see Your orders already mention these carriers, with an Add button beside each carrier to create the company in one click. Zimam Manager also creates companies on its own from the carriers it finds in your orders.

To change a company, click Edit; to remove it, click Delete. Deleting also removes its pricing history, and asks you to confirm first. Add company, Edit and Delete appear for owners and managers only.

Pricing​

Click Pricing beside a company to open its price grid, with one row per wilaya. Any member can open it; editing is for owners and managers who have Sees costs.

Each wilaya has two groups, Home delivery and Desk delivery, and each group has three prices:

  • Public price: what the customer pays for delivery.
  • Seller price: what you pay the company. This is the delivery cost in the profit calculation.
  • Return fee: the fee for a returned order.

Desk prices are optional: a wilaya with no desk price uses its home price.

To change prices:

  1. Type the prices in the fields.
  2. In Effective from, choose the date they start to apply.
  3. Click Save pricing. The message Pricing saved. appears.

Leave the fields empty for a wilaya the company does not serve: empty means no price, which is different from 0, a free price. If ••• appears instead of Seller price and Return fee, your account does not have Sees costs, and you cannot edit. If — appears, that wilaya has no price yet.

If you try to leave before saving, Zimam Manager asks: You have unsaved pricing changes. Leave without saving? To go back to the list, click Back to delivery companies.
