Pricing simulator
The Pricing Simulator answers three questions before you spend: what is the lowest price that still breaks even, how much can you pay per lead, and how much you would earn on 100 orders.
The page needs Sees costs. Without it you see a message asking you to request cost visibility from a manager. See Invite your team.
Fill in the inputs
- Open Simulator.
- Choose a store, search a product by name and click Select. Click Change to pick another one. You can also skip this step and fill every field by hand.
- Check the fields under Inputs. They are filled in for you, and you can edit all of them.
A note under the product reminds you that the rates are the store's average over the last 30 days, while the costs belong to the product itself. If some orders in that window are still in transit, another note says how many were left out of the rates.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Price | The selling price you want to test. |
| Cost per lead (CPL) | What you pay in ads for each order placed. |
| Confirmation rate — store average | Share of orders that get confirmed, in %. |
| Delivery rate — store average | Share of shipped orders that are delivered, in %. |
| Product cost | What one unit costs you. |
| Packaging cost | Packaging cost per unit. |
| Avg delivery fee (delivered) | What the carrier charges for a delivered order. |
| Avg return fee (returned) | What the carrier charges for a returned order. |
When a cost could not be measured for the product, the field stays empty with the note "Not measured for this product/period — enter your own figure." Type your own number.
Read the results
Under Results, three figures update as you type:
- Breakeven price: the price at which your profit is exactly zero. It shows a dash when no price can break even, because no order would ever be delivered.
- Max CPL: the most you can pay per lead at your current price and still break even. A negative number means you already lose money with no ad cost. Lower your costs or raise the price first.
- Projected profit / 100 orders: your profit if 100 orders are placed at your price, CPL and rates.
Click Hide formula or Show formula to see the terms behind each result. The simulator takes the rates measured on orders that already reached a final outcome and applies them to new leads. It is an estimate, not a live measurement.
Save scenarios
Everyone in the workspace sees the saved scenarios.
- Click Save as…, type a Scenario name, for example "Winter promo", then click Save. Two scenarios cannot share a name.
- Choose a scenario in Load scenario to bring its inputs back.
- After you change a loaded scenario, Unsaved changes appears. Click Save to update it, or Save as… to keep it as a new one.
- Click Delete to remove the loaded scenario. You are asked to confirm, and it cannot be undone.
