QR Code Generator

The QR Code Generator app creates a code that, when scanned, opens your storefront, a single product page, or any link you enter. You download it as a 1024×1024 px PNG, ready to print on flyers, invoices, and cards. The app is available on every plan.

Create a QR code​

  1. Open Apps from the sidebar.
  2. On the QR Code Generator card, click Open App.
  3. In the Connection Type list, choose where the code leads:
    • Store Front: your store's home page.
    • Specific Product: one product's page. Pick the product in the Select Product field that appears.
    • External URL: any other link. Type it in the Destination Link field.
  4. Check the link shown in the QR target field. This is the link the code opens.
  5. Click Download PNG to save the image to your device.

The code is generated automatically and appears in the preview as soon as there is a valid target. Click Update QR Code to generate it again by hand.

  • If your store has a verified custom domain, Store Front and Specific Product links use that domain. Otherwise they use your store's subdomain. See Custom domains.
  • The Select Product list shows only products that have a public URL, taken from the first 100 products in your store. If there are none, you see No products with public URLs found.
  • For External URL, https:// is added if you leave it out. The app does not check that the link works, so review it before you print.
  • If you see Store URL is unavailable., your store has no public address yet, and no code is generated until it has one.

Before you print​

The code is a fixed picture of the link at the moment you create it, and the dashboard does not store it. If the destination changes later, such as a product link or your store's domain, create and download a new code; a code you already printed does not change.
