Store settings

The Store Settings screen has four tabs: General, Domain, Language, and Checkout. Each tab saves on its own, so saving one tab does not save edits on another.

To open it, click Store settings in the Storefront group of the sidebar.

Only a member with the Admin role can change store settings. A Manager does not see this screen in the sidebar, and a Viewer sees it but cannot save. See Team members.

General tab

This tab holds the store information your customers see:

• Store Name — the name shown on your storefront and in your store list.
• Store Description — a short text about your store.
• Location — free text, such as a city or an address.
• Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram — enter the username only. The box shows the start of the link (instagram.com/, tiktok.com/@, t.me/) and the full link is built for you.
• Facebook — a full link. If you type it without https://, it is added when you leave the field.
• Phone Number — the contact number shown to customers. It needs at least 10 digits, and if you change it, it must match your store country's phone format. See Countries and currencies.

An empty social field is not shown on your storefront.

After editing, click Save Changes. The button reads Saving... until the save completes.

The General tab also holds a card:

• Device push notifications — turn on order alerts in the browser you are using and pick alert sounds. See Notifications.

The access tokens that connect your store to an AI assistant have their own MCP tab. See Claude MCP.

Domain tab

• Store Domain — your store's subdomain on .zimamshops.com. The field accepts lowercase Latin letters, digits, and hyphens (-) only, and checks availability as you type: Subdomain is available or This subdomain is already in use. Click Save Changes on this tab to save it.
• Custom Domain — connect a domain you own, such as www.mystore.com. See Custom domains.

Language tab

Sets the Storefront Language — the language your storefront is shown in to customers: العربية (Arabic), English, or Français (French).

This tab has no Save button: your choice is saved as soon as you pick it. If the save fails, the list returns to the previous language and an error message appears. Buyers can always switch language from your shop's footer.

The storefront language does not change the language of your own dashboard. You set that in Your profile.

Checkout tab

Checkout fields decide what your store asks a buyer for when they order. Each field has three states: Hidden (the buyer never sees it), Optional (the buyer sees it and may leave it blank), or Required (the buyer must fill it in before ordering).

Field	Rules
Full name	Hidden, Optional, or Required.
Phone number	Always Required; cannot be changed.
Wilaya	Optional or Required, never Hidden, because the delivery fee is priced per wilaya. If you make Commune Required, the wilaya is held at Required.
Commune	Hidden, Optional, or Required.
Delivery type	Hidden or Optional. If the buyer picks nothing, the order is home delivery.

Click Save checkout fields to save your choices.
