Subscription and billing
Your plan decides which features your store has and how many orders it takes each month. You manage it from Plans in the dashboard sidebar, on the Subscription & Billing page.
The plans
| Plan | How you pay |
|---|---|
| PAYG | No monthly subscription. Each order is paid from your credit balance. |
| Starter, Growth, Pro | A subscription you prepay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. |
| Enterprise | A contract arranged with the Zimam team. The card shows Custom pricing and a Contact us button. |
Each plan card lists its Plan limits (orders per month, team members, call center agents, custom domains, abandoned order recoveries, monthly AI credits) and the integrations and features it includes. The cards are the current reference for prices and limits.
A few features are tied to specific plans:
- Google Sheets order export: Starter and above.
- Connected platforms (sales channels) and MCP write access: Growth, Pro and Enterprise.
- Your own WhatsApp number and order status update notifications (part of WhatsApp order confirmation): Enterprise only. WhatsApp order confirmation itself is available on every plan.
A new store can start on a 30-day Pro Trial: Pro features are active during that time. Subscribe before the trial ends, or the store moves to PAYG automatically. You get a notification 3 days before the trial ends.
Subscribe to a plan
- Open Plans.
- Under Choose your subscription term, pick 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. Longer terms can carry a term discount, shown on each card.
- If more than one Payment method is offered, choose one:
- Card payment: Visa or Mastercard through Stripe. You may also pick the card currency (USD or EUR).
- Local payment: CIB or Eddahabia, in Algerian dinars. It is offered only to stores whose country is Algeria.
- On the plan you want, click Subscribe followed by the plan name, then complete the payment page.
To use PAYG instead, click Activate PAYG on the PAYG card.
Card and local payments renew differently
- A card subscription renews automatically. The Current Plan card shows Renews on and the date.
- A local payment covers one prepaid period only. The card shows Paid until and a notice that DZD payments do not renew automatically. Starting 7 days before the end date you get a reminder. Pay again before that date to keep your plan.
You cannot pay locally while a card subscription is active. End the card subscription first.
Change your plan
If you pay by card, each plan card shows a button for the change:
- Upgrade followed by the plan name: the upgrade applies right away. If a payment is needed, you are sent to the payment page.
- Schedule downgrade followed by the plan name: the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current period. The Current Plan card shows the scheduled date.
If the lower plan has fewer team seats than you use, the dashboard asks you to choose which members lose access before it schedules the downgrade. See Team members.
Monthly order allowance
Paid plans include a number of orders per month. The count starts again on the first day of each calendar month. It does not include:
- orders that Zimam Guard flags as fake, and
- orders that arrive from a connected platform (see Sales channels).
When a paid plan reaches its allowance, each extra order costs 3 credits from your balance. If the balance cannot cover it, the order is refused and your storefront goes offline until you add credits. See Credits and balance.
To add order allowance for the current month only, buy a pack under Feature packs at the bottom of Plans. Feature packs are paid with credits, and unused quota does not carry over to the next month.
PAYG has no monthly cap. Each order is charged its per-order fee from your balance instead.
Invoices, late payments and cancellation
- Manage Billing opens the Stripe billing portal for a card subscription. The dashboard has no separate cancel button; a card subscription is cancelled in that portal.
- Invoices for a card subscription are listed on Plans.
- If a card payment fails, the status becomes Past Due and a banner asks you to update your payment method. Click Pay invoice to pay the open invoice.
- A cancelled subscription shows the status Cancelled. Subscribe again to keep using the platform.
When a plan ends
A store needs a live plan, and enough credits for the next order, to keep its storefront online. If your subscription lapses, a local period ends without a new payment, or your balance runs out on PAYG, the storefront stops taking orders and goes offline. It comes back once you pay again, activate PAYG, or add credits.
Enterprise
Enterprise is set up by the Zimam team under a contract, with custom pricing and terms. Click Contact us on the Enterprise card to start.
