Upsell Offers
Upsell offers let a buyer choose a larger quantity of a product at a package price, with or without free delivery. You set them up in the product form.
Turn on offers for a product
- Open Products, then add a product or edit one.
- Scroll to Offers and turn on Upsell Offers.
- The first time you turn it on, an empty offer row is added for you. Fill it in, and click Add Another Offer for more.
- Click Save Product.
Offer fields
Each row is one offer:
- Text: what the buyer reads, for example "Buy 2 Get 1 Free". An active offer cannot be saved without it: the save stops with "Every active offer needs a text label".
- QTY: the number of units in the offer, at least 1.
- Price: the total price of the package at that quantity, in your store's currency. It must not be higher than the product's Price multiplied by the quantity, or the save stops with "The offer price must not exceed the price of the same quantity without the offer". A price equal to that total is allowed; the storefront then shows no saving. Set it to 0 for an offer whose only benefit is free delivery.
- Free Delivery: switch between YES and NO. When a buyer picks an offer set to YES, the order carries no delivery fee.
- Mark as Best Offer (the star): highlights one offer with a best-offer badge. Only one offer can be marked; marking another clears the previous one.
- Active / Inactive: hides an offer from buyers without deleting it.
- Delete Offer: removes the row.
To change the order in which buyers see the offers, drag a row by its handle.
Turn offers off
Turning off Upsell Offers removes all offers from the storefront. Offers that have text are kept in the form, so they come back when you turn the switch on again. Rows without text are removed.
What the buyer sees
On the product page, active offers appear as cards in the order form under "Special Offers (Choose & Save!)". The buyer can pick one offer. Each card shows its price, the saving in percent compared with buying the same quantity at the unit price, and the free-delivery and best-offer badges you set.
